I know this post has lingered for way too long but it’s finally here. A few weeks ago, I attended a very special occasion. A wedding.
Now, I believe that a wedding is a wonderful event, a celebration and demonstration of love.
The couple are very well know to me and to say the least, I was so happy, excited and proud of the beautiful couple.
For the wedding I opted for a soft hues, simple but not a common dress from marks and spencer. When I found this dress I just knew that it was the one.
In subtle blush tone, with perfect intricate details of metallic beads sown unto the fabric, just in the perfect length and also the perfect fit.
I found the perfect wedding guest outfit in this dress because it doesn’t cling or body hugging which I loved so it didn’t set imaginations running wild. Lol
I was comfortable which should be the number one criteria for buying any dress.
It came in just the appropriate length, talking about length, as a wedding guest I think only the bride should be wearing the long (maxi) usual dress and I also think that if you really have to wear a maxi dress, make sure it’s not white, cream or Ivory. Those colours should be reserved for the bride. (That is my honest view anyway) The bride should be the ultimate centre of attention.
So I meet some fabulous ladies and we had to take a few photos.
I finished off this gorgeous look with a nude clear block heeled sandal, a nude Mac as it was a bit nippy on the day and a gold clutch purse that was given to me by my mum over ten years ago. 🤗
